About Us

History

Streams of Life Church was launched in 22 June 1980 by Pastor PSF Makhoba at Moletsane SOWETO. His assistant was Pastor Raboroko. Our missionary work has touched churches and people in the following places on more than one occasion: -

  • Kwazulu Natal: Eshowe, Esikhawini, Dumbe, Bilanyoni, Paulpietersburg, Emmaus, Bergville
  • Free State: Welkom,Thabong, Bethlehem; Thaba-Nchu, Botshabelo, Kroonstad, Senekal,    Wesselsbron; Bothaville, Kgotsong;  Odendaalsrus, Kutloanong;     Harrismith, Tshiame
  • North-west: Ga-RaNkelenyana, Koster, Brits: Mmakau, Mothutlu, Ramotsile, Viljoenskroon

  • Limpopo: Mokopane, Mapela

  • Mpumalanga: Chakastad (Edwaleni), White River (Jerusalema, Chochocho, eDwaleni); Mhluzi, Middelburg;  Belfast, Zithuthukiseni ; eNgodini ; Machadodorp , Badplaas ;  eMbuleni, Barberton
  • Eswatini: Mbabane, Emaphalaleni, Matshapa, Bhunya (Pineapple region),     Hlathikhulu, emabhasini, New Haven, Ntsoko (Pst Fakudze), Peaks peak,  eSitsheni (next to royal kraal)

We are all part of communities and our lives take us to various other parts of the world in sectors such as Public service, Market place, Religious and traditional backgrounds. We can summarize these sectors as the following worlds we operate in;

¥  High-Place: government or other world systems and kingdoms that are mans idea of law and order to exert control over others

¥  Dwelling-Place: Our homes and/ or comfort zones where we spend most of our leisure time

¥  Marketplace: refers to any place of trade and businesses of all sizes

¥  Workplace: refers to places where we trade our time for profit. Jobs and employment opportunities are part of the workplace world

¥  Holy-Place refers to our places of solitude, burning incense, worship and prayer ie. Church.

 

We believe that we are indeed called to these worlds, not to conform to their standards but instead to transform them for Christ following the recipe of transformation explained in Rom. 12: 2 – through the renewal of the mind as we unpeel the good, acceptable an perfect will of God for those worlds.
